About Me

Simplifies Complexity Systems Mindset Human-Centered AI Design Drives Business Impact Photographer e-Mountain Biker

I'm a Lead UX and Product Designer based in Los Angeles with 12 years designing consumer and enterprise digital products at Disney, LegalZoom, and ADP, with earlier work spanning streaming TV at Rovi and agency projects at Schematic and Possible. From mobile apps used by millions of park guests to compliance tools powering 100K+ HR clients, I design systems that work at scale.

I came to UX through architecture, where I earned a professional degree and learned to think structurally before anything else. I.T. came later, learned hands-on under a mentor. Those two backgrounds together give me a lens many designers don't have. I design how things work, not just how they look.

I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Catholic University of America, and most recently earned AI certifications from HCAI Institute and Vanderbilt University.

Currently open to West Coast full-time and longer-term contract roles. If something here resonates, I'd love to connect!

Outside of work, I live in a quiet Los Angeles neighborhood with my wife and a very opinionated dog.

He brings the highest level of professionalism, communication and insight to the office on a daily basis. On top of that, he's a joy to work with and a fantastic person.

Quito isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo—always advocating for solutions that enhance the user experience without compromising on accessibility or usability. His design thinking is both strategic and detail-oriented; he’s able to zoom out for a high-level product vision while also diving into the fine details of interface interactions and user flows.
